We are Rutger & Audrey, and with EV Camper we would like to offer you a sustainable alternative for a carefree and unforgettable trip.

Introducing

We are Audrey and Rutger, and together with our son Dexter and dog Balou we live in Amersfoort. We love an active and "outdoorsy" life, play a lot of sports and love to take beautiful trips. Our last (pre-Corona) trip was to the USA, where we made a round trip along the East Coast. Meanwhile, we have also completely fallen in love with traveling by electric campervan. We try to take care of our planet as best we can in our daily lives by making conscious choices and choosing green alternatives whenever possible.

In 2021 we started renting electric campervans. We ourselves have been driving electric since the early days, and we think electric driving really is the future. Not only in terms of sustainability, but also because it is a great way to drive. In the beginning we sometimes had range anxiety, but fortunately it has never happened that we were stranded with an empty battery. With the ever-growing number of charging stations, and all the handy apps to help you, we're no longer worried about it.

How we started with EV Camper

For years we had been talking about how wonderful it would be to travel around with a campervan , so when we discovered that this can be done electrically these days, the puzzle pieces fell into place. In 2021 we ordered our first two electric Peugeot e-Experts with all the options, and they were converted by Fixxter into the wonderful e-Fixxter XXL electric campervan. Meanwhile, they have already been able to make many people happy on their sustainable journey. And because of the great success we have also been able to expand further, and this season we can offer six electric campervans for rent.

EV simply stands for Electric Vehicle or Electric Vehicle. With EV Camper we like to offer you the opportunity to take beautiful trips in a more sustainable way. We want to offer you a carefree experience with luxury, comfort and convenience, combined with the adventure of a campervan. Personal attention is very important to us. Of course, we do this primarily by providing you with a perfect and well-equipped campervan , but also by helping you with electric driving if that is still new to you. And in case of any problems, we are at your service 24/7. Our campervans are excellently insured, and we have roadside assistance throughout Europe.
