Frequently asked questions about the electric campervan
Here are the answers to frequently asked questions about the electric campervan e-Fixxter XXL. Is your question not listed? Let us know.
My question ...
-
Perhaps the most frequently asked question, especially by people for whom electric driving is new. In the warmer months of the year you can easily reach 250 km on a full charge with the e-Fixxter XXL, and with the Outbase ID.Buzz you can even reach 350 km. But the average RVer doesn't actually drive much more than about 200 km in a day . . .

Our electric campervans all have fast charging capability. This allows you to fully recharge your electric campervan in 30-45 minutes. This is especially convenient along the highway. In town or at your destination, charging usually takes several hours.
-
The number of charging stations in Europe has grown considerably in recent years. Especially along the highways, you can actually go anywhere. Our campervans has been to many places in Europe, from England and Scotland to Poland and Croatia, and charging has never been a problem. However, it is always advisable to plan your charging stops, and take into account areas where charging points are less abundant.

Annoying when it happens, but there is always a chance of damage. You have an excess of € 1,000 per case (€ 1,250 for drivers under 24 years of age), and in consultation with you we try to find a suitable solution. In the unlikely event that you cannot continue your trip, our insurance covers replacement transportation and accommodation in most cases.
-
Yes, your dog can also travel with you. However, we do charge an additional cleaning fee for this.
-
Of course, it is not to be hoped, but you may still have to cancel your trip. The sooner you give notice, the lower the cancellation fee. See our Reservations page for details. It is always advisable to purchase cancellation insurance to avoid this risk.
-
Dogs are also allowed in our electric campervans . They are then given an extra cleaning after booking, but with severe allergies this can still be a problem. We try to ensure that some of our campervans always remain dog-free. It is best to contact us to discuss the possibilities.
-
If you already have your own bike carrier, you can simply use it on the tow bar of our electric campervan. A white license plate is provided, and possibly an adapter from 7-pin to 13-pin.
-
Luggage space consists of a large compartment under the sofa bed, space on the sofa bed itself, and a number of built-in lockers.
-
Our campervans are equipped with all-season tires with 2PMSF mark (the "snowflake"). This means that they are permitted in countries where winter tires are mandatory during the winter period. The tires offer safe grip when it has been snowing, but we do not recommend them for extreme winter conditions.
