Electric campervan rental South Holland

Finally you can rent an electric campervan in South Holland with a range big enough for a nice vacation.

Our electric campervan: e-Fixxter XXL

Our electric campervan is the e-Fixxter XXL. It is based on the 530cm long Peugeot e-Expert or Opel Vivaro-e with 75 kWh battery, and built by Fixxter. It is a thoroughly Dutch product with a lifting roof developed in Flevoland, furniture and sofa bed from Friesland, and it is built in Limburg.

The campervan looks fantastic, and has every luxury imaginable such as automatic transmission, Android Auto/Apple Carplay and climate control . It actually feels and drives like a normal passenger car. This also makes parking very easy, especially with the rearview camera and front and rear parking sensors.

The conversion was realized with beautiful natural materials where 100% electric was the starting point. So no more cooking or heating with gas, but everything via battery or mains. A large capacity of solar panels is obviously not lacking, nor is an extra large household battery of 200 Ah. So 2-3 days of off-the-grid camping is certainly possible.

What is included?

  • A nice wide bed with comfortable mattress topper measuring 140×200 cm

  • A sleeping roof for star space with an extra bed of 115x200 cm

  • A two-seat bench with seat belt and swivel front seat(s)

  • Easy to use canopy

  • Camping table with 2-4 comfortable chairs

  • A kitchen with electric hob, Nespresso machine, kettle, sink, spacious refrigerator and eating/cooking utensils

  • Solar panels on the roof to go completely off-the-grid if necessary

  • Connection to the campground power grid

Electric BBQ and skottelbraai

Complete your electric experience with an electric BBQ. With the Cadac E Braai you will discover how delicious and easy electric barbecuing can be. No fire, so ideal for camping. Ready to start within 5 minutes. Adjustable from 70 to 270 degrees and easy to clean. With the included paella pan, you also transform the BBQ into a skottelbraai.

Electric scooter

Need to run a quick errand or go on a city trip? Leave the campervan for once and take the electric scooter! Not only very practical, but also fun to do. With the electric scooter you are optimally mobile. It has a range of 30-40 km, and reaches a speed of 25 km/h.

Unfortunately, in the Netherlands the electric scooter can only be used on private property (e.g. camping), but abroad it is allowed in most places.

The scooter has its own charger and is equipped with a lock. Also, a helmet is available for safety. Finally, the scooter is collapsible for easy carrying in the campervan.

Electric driving

The journey is the destination ... of course a great starting point for a vacation anyway, but it certainly applies to electric campervans. If you want to get from A to B as quickly as possible, don't take an electric campervan. But do you want to take a nice trip at your leisure, and enjoy what you see along the way? Then this could be just the thing for you.

250 km of driving on a charge

Our electric campervans has a range of 330km on paper. In practice, however, count on 250km. How fast you drive is very decisive. Driving at 100 km/h will get you a lot further on a charge. The campervan also uses regenerative braking, which recovers energy as soon as you brake.

In the early days of electric driving, people often had "range anxiety. This is really no longer necessary with the range of our campervan, and the large number of charging points.

Charging over a cup of coffee

What makes the electric campervan excellent for a vacation, even to destinations further afield, is its fast-charging capability. The Peugeot e-Expert can fast charge up to 100 kWh. That's considerably fast. It means you can recharge at about 400 km per hour. In other words, with 30-45 minutes you're back on the road if you want.

In practice, it means that you spend about 2-3 hours driving, and then stop for a cup of coffee or lunch. This way you travel in a very relaxed way and arrive nicely rested.

No
charging stress

We will provide you with a charging card that can be used anywhere in Europe if you wish, so you don't have to worry about anything. The actual costs incurred will be settled afterwards. You can also use your own charging card.

To see where you can charge, use the campervan 's navigation or an app on your phone. With some 300,000 charging stations in 35 countries, there's always one nearby. And at the campsite, just plug into the campsite power.
