Safe Winter Travel with your Electric Motorhome: Tips and Obligations

Prepare well and discover winter adventures without worries

Winter tires in Germany: Stricter Rules in 2024

From Oct. 1, 2024, the rules for winter tires in Germany have been tightened. In winter conditions such as snow or ice, you are required to use tires with the official 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake) symbol. These tires offer optimal grip and safety. Please note that tires with only an M+S marking no longer meet the requirements.

What is the 3PMSF symbol and why is it important?

The 3PMSF symbol, an icon of three mountain peaks with a snowflake, shows that the tire has been tested for winter performance. These tires are designed to provide better control and safety during icy and snowy drives, essential for a comfortable and safe journey. All campervans in the EV Camper fleet are equipped with these tires.
